Afternoon in the BB House + Veto Players

Happy Veto Comp Day, BB addicts!! The houseguests still haven't picked for Veto Players yet, but I'm sure that'll be happening soon. The morning in the house has been rather uneventful so let's dive into the Afternoon post.

**Scroll down for the Veto Comp players.

Currently on the live feeds...

12:34pm BBT:
Bathroom
Derrick/Cody
Feeds were on fishies but when they came back, Derrick/Cody were talking about the possibility
of having to throw Zach under the bus and for the two of them (D/C) to have the same story so it seems more valid.

Derrick: "Zach's been throwing us under the bus for 50 days straight. I hope it doesn't come to that, but
if it does, he's a casualty of war."

12:56pm BBT:
Living Room
Donny/Nicole
Donny: "There's 1 person that I don't want to win, that's played everybody: Derrick. He has manipulated everybody."
Nicole: "That's true."
Donny: "Cody hasn't. He just rode the train. If I would have said that a long time ago, it would've got back to him. I quit my job to come here. Well..we'll have the memories forever."

Donny said that it's going to be hard to stay in the game (both him and Nicole) unless the others start really turning on each other, which he doesn't see happening.

Donny: "Derrick told Jocasta before she left that he didn't they had enough votes to keep her and how that's a vote for him (in jury)."

Donny thinks it was him/Cody that voted Nicole out. Nicole confirms it was.
Christine joins them. Their convo ends.

1:10pm BBT:
Kitchen
Derrick/Cody/Victoria
Derrick just asked Victoria to go get some clothes in her room and see if Donny/Nicole are scheming. She does. Derrick said he loves having Victoria with him because nobody thinks much of her, like right then: people would just think she's getting clothes.Victoria comes back and says they're sleeping and have their eyes covered.

Derrick: "I gotta go take a sh*t. I'm stressed out."
Derrick leaves. Cody/Victoria talk.
Cody is telling Victoria that Donny/Hayden/Nicole were "locked" with each other and that Donny/Nicole are still working together. He tells Vic how when Cody mentioned putting up Donny last week, that she shot the idea down really quick and refused to put him up.

1:27pm BBT:
Victoria: "This house is so different (now). So many people gone."

Meanwhile, upstairs..

1:28pm BBT:
HOH Room
Derrick/Frankie

Derrick said that Zach volunteered to go up on the block next to him and to throw the BOB comp but Nicole didn't trust Zach to throw it.

Frankie said that he needed to be on the show because he's "standing next to the sun", his sister being the "sun" and him being "pluto". He's trying to be his own star, not just her brother.

1:42pm BBT:
Derrick saying that if it's him/Frankie in Final 2, he hopes America doesn't get to pick because they'd pick Frankie. Derrick then asks Frankie all about his youtube videos and is pumping Frankie's ego up, saying he's impressed, etc.

1:45pm BBT:
Time to pick Veto Comp players!
**While we wait, check out the new poll on the right side of the blog!

1:57pm BBT:
Feeds are back. (That was quick!)

Derrick is telling Caleb/Cody to blame everything on Zach & how he approached Nicole to throw it.
Donny/Nicole enter to try to nap, Nicole walks away apologizing for interrupting them.

Victoria walks in as Donny/Derrick are talking and says she's nervous.
The Veto Comp players were picked, still trying to get names. Sounds like Derrick is playing and Cody isn't.

Veto Comp Players:
Christine/Zach/Donny/Derrick/Nicole/Caleb
Host: Victoria

Frankie/Caleb just talked in the bathroom.
Caleb blamed him throwing the BOB comp on Nicole/Zach. Frankie said that America hates them for trying to get him out. (*Uh..)

**Bloggy break!

Stay tuned...

Frankie is PAINFUL to watch! I liked him before his ego party, but now... Oh my god- I need some penicillin just to watch

I really wish they knew how much we don't like frankie!! It would make them all feel better

I feel horrible for Zach. Sheesh that's so weird to write. Really hoping he wins veto. And Glad to know Donny wasn't fooled by Derrick. It seems like everyone is lying MORE now that all this "truth" has come out (not just frankie, everyone) has come out. If I were in the house at this point, it would be a huge relief to go to the jury house!

That made me laugh Alabama of your spin on

Frankie sure will be pleased to see how "famous" he now is, just NOT in the way he had hoped!
Wait, what's that Frankie?
You mean you DID NOT want to be famous for being BIg Brother's assclown of this season (and MANY)?

The part I'm most confused about with Frankie's big reveal last night is why on earth did he feel the need to utilize that desperation play right after he won BOB and was safe for the week? It makes no sense. I'm sure he came into the house with that in his back pocket as his break glass in case of emergency plan but he had just averted his current imminent danger by winning. Perhaps he had a bad feeling about Caleb throwing it and figured he would lose so he had it all planned out in his head so already on a high just went ahead with it anyway? I don't know. But whatever the reason it was a big mistake because he can't take it back now that it's out there and he wasted his last bullet shooting a celebration shot in the air.

He was already safe for this week and a lot could happen in a short period of time to completely change things in BB. Who knows what could've happened next week? Frankie could've won HOH and bought himself even more time to smooth things over and start new alliances and deals or someone else could've jumped ahead of him as a target. But instead he told everyone when he was already safe and now it's quickly turning into an even bigger negative against him and making him more of a target.

He clearly thought of this as his brilliant Dan's Funeral moment however the sequel is never as good as the original LOL. Most importantly Dan gave his big speech in a true pure desperation moment when he was clearly out the door after losing POV and he gave it the night before the ceremony and got Frank to get Jenn City to use it to save him the next morning. He didn't do it when he was safe and give everyone a couple weeks to get over the shock and think about it and poke holes in it.

And he was soooo excited to reveal his stupid secret. His TRUE colors are showing through big time! His ego is gross

lmcniven said...

Sooo is Zachole still a thing or is she completely flipped on him again and now team Donnie?

MommaHil said...

@ Brian - I think he was told by production that now was a good time because they knew it would bring a huge response since if he didn't win, he would be out the door and production didn't want to miss out on that opportunity (and Frankie) of the HGs reaction to it all. The fact that he actually won BOB and was safe (kind of shady that this was the one and only BOB that was able to be won by a single player) and could have saved it for his last ditch effort didn't even enter into Frankie's huge egotistical mind since all he cared about was the "big reveal" and being the supposed envy of all. He's going to be spitting that fact out repeatedly -- as he already has been doing since last night. Victoria being the voice of reason to Nicole was an even bigger "reveal" than Frankie's IMO!

Maybe it is Alison Grodner that really wants to meet Justin Bieber.

It wasn't the only comp that could be solo'd. Amber won the chess bob for herself and Jocasta after Jocasta was eliminate pretty much at the start of the game. I actually think it's fair to change to comp in this circumstance. Those comps are there to allow people the opportunity to bust their but and save themselves. It would not be right to allow caleb to sabotage Frankie, or anyone else. It'd be like having someone on the block and not allowing them to play in the veto.

Do you think Frankie will realize America is sick of him once BB is over? Or do people that are so arrogant and narcissistic not ever realize reality? I loved Frankie at first. Last night when I was watch BBAD I was so thrilled about how Zach was voicing his dislike and distrust of Frankie and I thought Frankie was going to cry. But then low and behold he quickly manipulated that into being all about his sister and his ties to that and we saw nothing but a peacock!

Dena said...

How famous is his sister? I have no clue who she is and neither do my friends.

Dawn Matusz said...

She's not really THAT famous.

@Dena

She's really just getting started in her music career as she started off as a kid on Broadway and a couple Nickelodeon shows. She had 1 top 10 song on her debut album which did debut at #1 last year. But her current song "Problem" from her soon to be released 2nd album is by far her biggest claim to fame reaching #2 on the singles chart.

@Gigi

It wouldn't quite be the same thing as not allowing them to play in POV as BOB is a brand new comp they've never had before and it won't be around for much longer. It's not a requirement that a HG receive 2 opportunities to remove themselves from the block.

Gigi said...

The veto wasn't a requirement either when it started. They are twists entered into the game. If they are going to have it in the game it has to fair and if you get up and fight for your life and your partner decides to just sit there and refuse to play that's not fair. Nobody is complaining because it was Frankie but had it have been Donny everyone would be up in arms about it.

MommaHil said...

The point I was suggesting about the solo BOB was the other ones usually had one person who was -- let's say competition challenged and both would lose and have to stay on the block because of the other's incompetence. The same could be said for winning it. Jocasta didn't purposefully sit out the BOB like this latest one was. Fortunately for her, Amber was able to win so she stayed safe. Caleb -- who I refuse to call a beast mode anything -- is still safe even though he refused to play. Like Brian said (smartest insight ever to this game btw) - BOB is new so situations like these are popping up that there aren't any rules for yet. Caleb should have been penalized for sitting out, not benefitting from it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see this again especially if the challenge is harder for one person than another. They could just sit out and take a chance on letting the other person win it for them. Expect the... oh, never mind.

@Gigi

The BOB is a new wrinkle to the game and if they keep it I'd imagine putting someone up with someone who's willing to be throw the comp and be a pawn will become a part of the game and something we'll see attempted at least once every season they have the BOB. To me it's a perfectly acceptable strategy. It's also a very risky one for the person throwing the comp as the intended target could always come off the block with POV and then who knows what happens and either way pawns do sometimes go home. And personally I'd feel the same no matter who was the intended target and my feelings towards them. I do however join in on the complaints if BB changed the scheduled comp to help Frankie because they knew Caleb was planning to sit out. And I'd feel that same way no matter who the HG was and my feelings toward them.

Thanks!!! My best friend's 12 year old daughter was shocked and appalled that I didn't know who she was. She gave me her complete bio:)

Derrick hasnt been on anybody radar yet... He needs to feel what being on the block is like and win a comp

Ste ven said...

And what role did the DR play if any. He really shouldn't have been cast on any season where viewers voted for someone to get a bonus. If your sister tweets 16 million people, you're going to get chosen over a beast mode cowboy, cop, model, batista, pedí cabber etc

Ste ven said...

He also keeps saying it's going to be a great episode so he's excited to think of himself as the "star." Team America then confirmed he was viewer favorite

Ste ven said...

America is a big country. You or I may not be fans but no doubt he will have more subscribers/followers and get more opportunities than before not to mention tens of thousands of cash for 3 months "work. ' win win win for him.

@Dena

Yeah I was going to jokingly ask if you or any of your friends were teenage girls LOL

Ste ven said...

She's on the cusp of super fame. She has a great voice and is performing on MTV Vma . She just released a new album and has some hit singles, now one called Bang Bang with Jessie J & Nicki Minaj. She also starred on Nick or Disney series. And she's big on Twitter - 16 million followers, which is ALOT & when her music was released and her grandfather was sick/died, they were always trending topics. She's a young girl but her singing has been compared to Mariah Carey so she could be big soon. The Grandes might want a reality show. Frankie may want to do acting (he is talented) or hosting or convert his youtube to a real TV show. Hey if he'd convince his sister to do Amazing race, they'd guaranteed be cast. She's most popular with tween and teen girls

Ste ven said...

Break Free, Bang Bang and some modest hits from the first. Probably not known by people over 30 but she's the total package and is going to have a big year

Ste ven said...

Tmz needs to see what the rule book says about opting out of comps.

I completely feel the same way! Well said Brian :)
