Morning/Early Afternoon in the BB16 House + Noms

Happy TGI-Friday, BB addicts!! :D Sorry for the late start, had to work this morning & just got back home. Sorry there will be no Overnighter because the Nomination Ceremony is already underway, no time. :( Today we will have HOH's Donny & Nicole make their nominations & then they'll battle it out in the BOTB Comp this afternoon.

Donny should be nominating Victoria/Caleb and Nicole's should be Zach/Jocasta. The idea is to get out either Frankie or Caleb this week. So today really comes down to who will win the Battle of the Block comp this afternoon. Either way, this week should be full of scrambling & I love it!! :D

Oh, and in case you missed it at the end of last night's show, next week is Double Eviction!! Yayy!!!

At 10am BBT, the live feeds switched to fishies & then switched to Jeff's season highlights...we have ourselves a Nomination Ceremony underway!! w00t!! :D As soon as the feeds come back, I'll post the confirmed Nominations and then start blogging from there today.

Currently on the live feeds...

11:44am BBT:
Feeds are back!!

Nominated for Eviction are:
Donny's Noms: Caleb/Victoria
Nicole's Noms: Zach/Jocasta

Frankie: "You did perfect! Your speech was perfect! You're still America's sweetheart."

Frankie leaves.
Cody enters. Nicole/Cody talk but they're whispering so loud that no amount of volume in my headphones can make out a single word. lol
On the other 2 cams, Caleb was telling Frankie how this is the best thing that could've happened because he thinks either Jocasta or Victoria will go home.

11:51am BBT:
Beehive Room
Jocasta/Zach

Jocasta is telling Zach that "communication is key" in the BOTB Comp. (Good advice after her last BOTB Comp with Victoria who didn't listen to her.)
Zach: "Hopefully it's a mental comp, we'd blow them outta the water!"

11:52am BBT:
Bathroom
Frankie/Victoria
Frankie is telling Victoria to go talk to Caleb, that they are now allys and need to work together to win the comp. He tells her that Caleb is ex-military so don't take his tone of voice as yelling. Victoria just keeps saying "I know, I know".

Victoria goes & talks to Caleb per Frankie's advice.
Victoria: "Right now, we are best friends. We need to communicate. I'm gonna like, freak out...I'm willing to work with you 100%...I'm ready to pull ourselves off the block and be safe for the week."
Caleb: "Whatever the comp is, we'll fight hard to win it."
Victoria: "Don't be afraid to give me instructions and tell me what to do (in the comp)."
Caleb: "Oh I won't be (afraid). You already know Beast Mode is ready to play."

11:58am BBT:
Fire Bedroom
Hayden/Victoria
Hayden is calming Victoria down. She's nervous that if she doesn't win, she could get sent home.
Hayden: "You'll be fine, you're not the target. You have a good chance at winning (BOTB)."

12:01pm BBT:
HOH Room #2
Victoria/Donny

Victoria is asking what would happen if her/Caleb lost BOTB and stayed nominated.

Donny: "I'm hoping y'all win it and I'm (dethroned)."
Donny tells Victoria to not worry and he thought it all out.
Donny: "Caleb & Zach...Caleb brags a lot. I hope y'all can work together so y'all can dethrone me this evenin'. But if you go to veto, I'm playin'! So that's 1 person that will be playing for you. If you get HG choice, possibly Hayden. Caleb didn't win Veto when he could've!" (re: taking the $5k over the Veto).

Donny: "You are safe. If it goes to Thursday, I will do whatever it takes to get your the votes to stay."
Victoria: "Thank you, Donny."
Donny: "Don't worry about this early (in the week)."

Donny tells Victoria to win the BOTB or Veto, pull herself off, win HOH next week and experience what he's experienced being HOH.
Donny: "Winning HOH recharged my batteries. Gave me my smile back."

Donny: "You are DEFINITELY not the target! Try not to panic."

Donny tells her to communicate with Caleb, don't panic, pay attention to her hands & not the comp itself. Stay focused, don't listen to others screaming because they can be distracting her...just pay attention to what Caleb's doing & saying during the comp.

Victoria thanks Donny and he offers her candy from his HOH basket, but she politely declines.

12:09pm BBT:
Victoria goes to Cody in the HOH bed for some cuddles.
Nicole walks in.
Nicole: "What's up, guys."

Nicole is talking to Cody about her Nomination Speech and how her parents are "gonna flip" because it's so out of character for her.

12:12pm BBT:
HOH Room

Nicole/Jocasta/Donny
Donny is talking to Jocasta about her "not being the target" and to "be positive". Nicole is there as well.

Jocasta: "This is the 4th time for me (on the block). I'm not sad!"
Donny: "I've been 3 times, I know exactly how it feels!"
Nicole: "And I'm here to save you, too."
Donny: "You are no ones target."
Nicole: "I'm so sorry, Jocasta."
Jocasta: "It's not even that, I can't eat (*she's on slop) and it's giving me stomach issues."

12:18pm BBT:
Rock Bedroom
Zach/Cody
Derrick said that Nicole won't put him (Cody) up as a renom next to Zach and that Zach won't go home no matter who he's next to.

Zach: "Everything is contingent on the veto. Best case scenario, me and Jocasta win today, you win the veto, Victoria goes home."
Cody: "Mm hm."

They run through scenarios of possibilities, but it all is contingent first on who wins BOTB today.

**The BOTB Comp should start soon because they picked the comp host right after the Nominations Ceremony this morning. I'm gonna take a bloggy break, been up since 7am and I need a little breather. lol I'll still have the feeds on and will update the blog as soon as the comp begins! :D Until then, enjoy the live feeds!! (*Pss..they're only $9.99/month for the rest of the season!!)

Stay tuned...

To get caleb and Victoria out at the same time would be sweet. Do they go to jury this eviction?

Donny's HOH is kinda a waste now cause his nominations suck!!! Derrick controlled both Donny and Nicole.

Donny is smart though hopefully Frankie or Zach go home this week !!!!! Caleb should stick around a bit

I want Caleb out for sure, but I want Frankie to stay! I'd even take Zach to being out first, lol.

I don't think Donny's nominiations are a total waste. Nobody has gotten Caleb to go up and go home yet, so if he suceeds it'll be a success. Just gonna have to wait and see :)

Jamie I'm so glad you have this blog. I don't think I could have waited until Sunday to find out who was HOH or noms. lol

You know two of the people everyone wanted and they don't strain far from the usual nominations. Jocasta and Victoria still nominated. So much for the shake up.

I'm glad at the idea of getting rid of Frankie. He's been revealing himself to be a not very nice person at all.

What can we name him? I've been calling Derrick the [head of the] Snake, so what about Frankie being the venom?

Yeah if Victoria or Jocasta are still up at vote time that's who will go. Oh wells.

The only way this would have worked would have been to put up Caleb and Cody then Frankie and zach. Any of them win the veto you put up the next that way you make sure one is gone. All they did was stir up the remaining players and leave it as they still have majority of the vote. Not a smart move at all. I don't think Nicole wants the HOH.

Totally agree! I wanted to see 4 members of the demonitors up. But that wld b risky cuz then he'd have all 4 after em. I'd like to see Frankie backdoored along with another guy!!!

Frankie is like a turd you can't flush lol he just needs to go away already!! Donny, Nicole, Hayden, Christine, Jo and Vic can be the plumbers lol lol

Yes I'm hoping Franking leaves this week then Zach during double eviction.

If Caleb goes that would be great but I doubt it. People want to keep him

I will seriously cry if Frankie goes home. Say what you want about his personality he has been an amazing player so far and I think Jocasta Victoria and caleb deserve to leave before he does. Caleb has done nothing but be a psycho and Jocasta and Victoria have proven week after week they are completely useless in this game. I'm a big supporter of actual game players being rewarded. Whether it be a mental or physical game. I'll even through Christine in there because she's not very good either. Frankie has done some shady stuff these pass couple of days but he's playing the game and he actually hasn't done anything the other guys haven't been doing he just got caught because he used the wrong person as a pawn.

I thought their plan is to back door frankie. ..

yea, the whole double HOH thing screws up the nominations - I think they take more of a risk if they know their picks stay up there.

I had no internet all day yesterday and just got a new modem this afternoon so I'm a little confused on the reasoning behind each putting up 1 of Victoria/Jocasta. Is it to weaken the team in the BOB to remain HOH? Cause if that was the case as long as you trusted the other person and both agreed to put up 2 strong players than that wouldn't matter.

Is it because they don't want to have more people coming after them and get the quickly tired phrase "blood of their hands"? If that's the case we are not early in the game anymore we are just about to start building the Jury. If you're HOH you have to start getting "blood on your hands" you just have to make sure it's the right blood. And they basically both know about this big alliance that's working together that they're not a part of and with so few other people outside of that to get rid of they are all coming after you anyway whether you put them up or not. Is there some other reasoning I'm missing cause that decision makes no sense to me?

To me the clear easy noms this week was Donny puts up Caleb and Cody who both put him up and Nicole puts up #Zankie for obvious reasons. That would be a very even matchup for BOB and would most likely come down to the luck of what the comp was if either team had an advantage. In that scenario the only way they wouldn't be guaranteed to evict 1 of those guys would be if Derrick got picked to play POV and won. Otherwise even if someone else used POV to save 1 of the noms Derrick could be the renom. The only other thing they could've done would be to leave Frankie as the only 1 of the 5 not put up to have him available to be backdoored by either HOH should POV be used.

Now with these noms it's very easy to imagine a scenario where Victoria or Jocasta ends up being evicted and the outsiders have wasted this very rare opportunity when they've controlled both ends of the double HOH. It's most likely all going to come down to whether Christine turns on the Detonators and makes it a 4-4 tie for the HOH to break or if she stays true and 1 of the girls goes home again. Whereas if 2 guys were up and Victoria and Jocasta were both voting they would control the votes.

The thing about the nominations is that they couldn't see past Derrick's crap. I wish they would have realized that and put up 4 strong players so at least one of the detonators could be sent packing and then the power wouldn't be there anymore. I'm really do not like Christine because she wouldn't vote one of her so call allies out of the house when she would be the first person kicked out of the house by those 4 guys. She doesn't see past "I'm so cool these guys really like me" mentality. I'm glad that Donny won HOH but I was really hoping for different people to be put on the block! Also Nicole Zach pretty much told you last week do not trust Christine...Zach doesn't say crap like that for fun he's trying to tell you something! UGH These house guests are horrible!

Gigi, I completely agree. We all have houseguests we love and hate, and they're both equally important. The game gets boring very quickly without heroes and villains.

But more and more every season, it seems like both fans and fellow houseguests would rather see players rewarded for likability than gameplay. That mentality is for Survivor, not Big Brother.

I would absolutely LOVE to see Zach & Franky up on the block AFTER Veto is competed & won, together & live even MORE when one of em gets to steppin out the door, front door, back door, don't give a damn which door, just GO!!!!

The brilliance of these nominations seem to be lost on people that wanted the 4 male Detonators nominated.

Derrick and Cody are working with Nicole and Hayden (at least for now) and those 4 + Donny + Jocasta/Victoria means that come the POV comp that out of 11 possible contestants 7 of them will be for removing either Jocasta or Victoria.

Additionally, Christine and Frankie would have no incentive to actually use the POV on Caleb.

Only Frankie might consider taking Zach down, but Nicole would be left at that point to nominate Christine or Donny as all others would be ineligible or in her alliance.

So "at the end of the day," 7 people would remove Jocasta/Victoria, 9 of 11 would remove a nominee (Zach/Caleb on themselves) and unless Frankie is picked to compete in the POV and wins the POV, he is the likely renom. (Even the best case scenario for Frankie would be 7 of 11 against him, as he would only have himself, Christine, Cody or Derrick who may not use the POV.)

Nicole, wake up and see the real Christine. Because of Christine and Nicole's hope that she (N) is in good with the guys, it isn't surprising that she didn't put up two of the detonators. Christine is not good for your game!
Risky to put up detonators, maybe, but Donny had a chance to get one of them out. Really, by putting up Victoria, it leaves it open for the detonators to vote Victoria out whereas they would have been forced to vote out one of their own if Donny's nominations remained the same.
Now, we have to hope that someone takes Victoria or Jocasta off and Frankie (or another detonator) goes up in their place. Then, it would be interesting. They would have to decide which one of their own goes.
Sorry, but if Victoria or Jocasta remain on the block with anyone else, they still have the numbers.

I'm not rooting for just the likable people. I'm rooting for the underdogs for now so that it can be a more even competition. I'm tired of having the same group of people having control. That is boring week after week. Once it evens out, the best players will still have to prove themselves deserving of the money.

@Paul

I don't know what show you're watching but I don't think there's any chance Derrick or Cody would use POV on Victoria or Jocasta. They've been working with Zach and Caleb since the beginning of the game there's no way they would take the other person off the block as that would cause huge shockwaves with Zach or Caleb plus it would open up that seat for Frankie or the other of Derrick/Cody to fill. At most they would not use POV or throw it.
