Monday: The Overnighter

Good morning & Happy Monday, y'all!! Remember when I said yesterday that unless something major happens, Jocasta would be going home this week? Well, something major has happened. lol Derrick/Cody flipped and now are on board with getting Zach out this week (along with Hayden/Donny). They are the 4 votes needed for a tie and Nicole would be the tie breaker to send Zach home.

Today is the Veto Ceremony but don't expect any surprises: Christine is definitely not using the veto, leaving Zach/Jocasta on the block. I have to work this morning for a few hours, so the Overnighter is gonna be a quickie but I'll give you the times you need to use on the live feeds flashback feature so you can watch the conversations when you have the time.

At 5:25pm BBT, Cody/Derrick talked game in the bathroom. (This was their 1st talk of voting Zach out).
Cody said that if they vote Zach out, they'd still have the numbers because they'd have Caleb.  Cody said that Zach's been the source of a lot of problems and that he's making them "cannibalize themselves". They know that Nicole/Hayden (their 4 person fake alliance) won't keep them long term because they (D/C) are big threats. They mentioned that Nicole is working with Donnny as well.

Derrick: "F*ck it, send Zach home."

At 6:58pm BBT, Cody/Nicole had a long talk in the hammock.
There's a lot of stuff that was said in this convo that I don't have the time to cover this morning, but the major things that happened were: Nicole said Frankie told her his next target is Cody and then Derrick, how Frankie tried everything he could to get her to keep Zach this week (per their HOH talk earlier in the day), that Christine threw out Cody's name to Donny pre-nominations earlier in the week, and how Frankie said Cody's a "big target".

Hayden/Derrick ended up joining in the conversation for a quick "Rationales" alliance meeting.

Right after this convo, Caleb/Victoria's "Adam & Eve" punishment ended.
It was pretty uneventful.

At 8:32pm BBT, Derrick/Cody had their 2nd "let's get out Zach" conversation.
Cody filled in Derrick about his convo with Nicole in the hammock. They both agree that they have to Zach out to cripple Frankie in the game. Cody said that they (D/C) don't have to pick a side of the house, they can chip away at both sides. Derrick agreed. Cody said that he has enough info (via Nicole) to make Christine gun after Donny and that he (Cody) will be gunning for Donny next week, too. Derrick said that if Nicole gets pissed that he's going after Donny, then she will "show her cards" then (re: Nicole/Donny working together).

Derrick gets called to the Diary Room and leaves.
Cody mumbles "Later, Zach." under his breath as he's watching Caleb/Zach play pool across the yard.

Sidenote: During an earlier conversation between Christine/Cody in the hammock (4:00pm BBT), Christine revealed that she knows about the LTA alliance (Zach/Cody/Derrick) because he told Frankie about it.

At 2:38am BBT, Derrick/Cody talked again about getting Zach out this week and that it's a done deal this week, Zach's going home. Cody thinks that Zach's playing him/Derrick and Frankie/Christine, trying to make Cody a target for Frankie. (They talked about this earlier, how it seems that Zach will tell them stuff about Frankie and then Frankie will tell them stuff about Zach, like they're setting them up.)

**And that's it for The Overnighter! Today is the Veto Ceremony but like I said, nothing is gonna happen then. It's just a formality at this point. I'll be back with the Afternoon Post in just a few hours!

Stay tuned...

Finally some action. It'll be nice if they can keep it quiet and then *boom* on eviction night.
Have a good morning of work Jamie. You'll be missed!

Do producers take the hot guys' shirts away? I've never seen so many guys hang around shirtless indoors all day AND night. The one thing is these young guys are totally secure.. None of the homophobia we often get. They even let Frankie paw all over them. Forget Zankie, even Caleb let's him hang all over & pet him. Too bad operation Frankie didn't work, but it would be great live TV Thursday if they can get him out, but C/D probably would only do it as a backdoor Ala Judd last season. Don't think evictees are coming back this year

If Zach goes home Thursday, lets just hope Frankie doesn't win HOH or Cody and Derrick might be in trouble for flipping. I'm pretty excited for Thursday! I can't wait to see what goes down.

Yeah - I hope they don't tell anyone and Zach (and half the house) get completely blindsided on Thursday.

Pulling off the blindside and shocking everyone could help Derrick/Cody survive the DE too. Others will be thrown off their game and they won't have much time for conversations to figure out what is going on.

I still don't understand why there hasn't been a falling out between Christine and Nicole. If Nicole wanted Frankie out, she clearly would have expected Christine to use the veto. With her refusing to do so, it outs Christine as having chosen the boys' alliance over Nicole. Unless they managed to change Nicole's mind and convince her to target Zach?

Final four derrick, donny, Frankie and zack.now that would be the best big brother ever!

This sucks!!! I love Zach and I am so bummed he is getting evicted. He's the only one who has been stirring anything up in the house and I love Zankie! I hope something happens to save him between now and Thursday. :( boo!

Yes! That made me so excited! Finally we have hope that there won't be another unanimous vote, maybe even a total split!

I've been afraid something like this would happen that would lead to Zach being evicted. Hopefully it changes back before Thu. I don't get how Derrick and Cody think they can vote Zach out and not pick sides. I'm pretty sure Frankie and Caleb will think much differently and feel betrayed and target them after this. Are they going to try and pin the votes on Christine and Victoria? Because I don't know how long that'll work (although it could on DE night) and that'll just turn Christine and Victoria against them as well.

This likely will just speed up the process of the strong players going after each other and leading to a lackluster final group. As boring as the house votes have been they've been getting rid of weak players early. And I'd much prefer that to some exciting big early moves that leaves us with nothing but riff raff at the end. Can you imagine if we end up with a Victoria, Jocasta and Christine F3? I just vomited in my mouth a little just thinking about it!

I think (if there is a blindside), Christine could easily get caught up in the cross-fire during the DE. Because of her friendship with Nicole, she'd be one of the first people I would guess would have flipped if the vote all of a sudden didn't go the way I expected.

Zach's little brother is going to catch so much crap at school in a few weeks, especially the Zankie stuff.

I agree! Thought they were so close and thought ppl were getting rid of who the hoh wanted to get rid of. wtf happened? I just want Donny to be safe!! Lol. I hope Frankie goes after Derrick and Cody!

Agree! Zach is the only one with balls to stir stuff up. I rather Frankie go.

I hate to see Zach go because he is so freakin' hilarious, but there needs to be a big move in this game. It's been too easy the past 40 something days! Big brother is about getting blood on your hands and playing, not using the easy way out. I think that's why even though Zach annoys me sometimes, he didn't give a crap about how Nicole and Christine felt when he put them on the block.

But I still don't want Frankie to go when there's a double eviction. I wouldn't be entertained as much :( lol

Oh the suspense!

Anyone know when Jury starts?

If Zach goes, I'll probably Stop watching and just record for a couple of weeks until something happens. He was my main entertainment.

Jury should start with the second person getting evicted on Thursday

CBS sent out a press release today announcing a revised schedule for Wed Sep 24 which will now feature a 90min season premiere of Survivor at 8pm followed by a 90min season finale of Big Brother at 9:30pm.

If Zach goes, I'll probably just rely on blogs to get my BB fix. This season has been a snooze and he was the only thing stirring it up. Derrick continues to comment that fans are probably bored this season, yet he does nothing to change that. Is anyone else sick of Cody? To me, he does nothing. He talks a big game, yet carries through with nothing. I am certain Thursday's vote will be unanimous, regardless of what was said. This has to be one of the most predictable and weak casts I have seen. My guess is we are going to be left with a couple weak, unexciting HG's in the finale.

I am old and don't like Zach, he gets on my nerves and he is on mute so all different opinions, too mouthy for me.............

Two of my favorite shows on the same night!

Frankie & Caleb at around 2am BBT, this morning got a little touchie feelie under the covers. The lights were out but you could here Caleb tell Frankie that he wanted Amber to do what Frankie was doing. There was a a lot of movement going on, than the screen froze. This has been happening a a lot lately, hope they fix it soon. Didn't have this issue last season :(

Completely agree. Zach is fun to watch and he doesn't mind creating drama.
